You Are The Whole

Consciousness is. It is noticed right now with the mind. The mind is the only tool you have to register anything at all. It registers the noticing that there is consciousness.

But the mind is not yours. The mind is not controlled by you, and it is not run by a separate intelligence from the totality. Everything springs from the same “intelligence.” Can it be any other way? Can you find anything that could have invented itself, separate and independent of the universal intelligence?  So it follows that “your” mind also springs from this universal intelligence.

The mind sees objects. It sees separate people, furniture, animals, mountains, planets, etc. This seeing of objects, and labeling them as such, is also not controlled by you. Your mental dividing of the world into objects and naming them is not done by you; it is not done by a separate intelligence from the totality.

So when you see an object, and you think it is separate from you, who thinks that? Do you? There is no individual one to think that, so are they separate? Both objects labeled by a mind whose source is the One Intelligence? How can you and the other object be discrete from one another? The source of both is the same.

You are already the whole. Everything you see is your Self. You are that mysterious source, that consciousness, that intelligence. Are there any things in this room that are not this? Are there any people that are not this?

There is only the one consciousness, and it is You. Consciousness is noticed with the mind, but the mind is not yours. The mind is your only tool, but it is not “yours.” So who is noticing this consciousness right now? This is the mystery that can not be grasped with any words or thoughts.

Who is conscious? Who are you? And who are all those others? There is no difference. All are from the same source. Nothing can come from “outside.” Nothing can be strange, threatening, or dangerous. Look around. Welcome to your very own Self. You can relax now. You are home.

All One. All Self. This same Self that is conscious right now. Are you conscious? This is all the proof you need.

The whole world is You.
